About Our Owner
Janice S. Baker began her reporting career in 1983 as a freelance court reporter. In 1985, she moved into Superior Court in Clayton County where she served for fifteen years under two superior court judges. In 2000, she left the Clayton County courthouse to concentrate full time on the freelance company.
During her career, she has served as Vice-Chair and Chairperson of GCCRA, the state recognized court reporting organization. She also served two terms as Chairperson of the Georgia Certified Court Reporting Association (GCCRA’s) Legislative Action Committee and was involved in implementing continuing education requirements for Court Reporters.
